Unilever signs Sydney Festival sustainability deal

Global FMCG company Unilever will become the inaugural sustainability partner of the Sydney Festival in 2012.
The partnership forms a part of Unilever’s “Sustainable Living Plan” that it hopes will halve the environmental impact of its products, while improving the health of the population.
Unilever will broadcast two vignettes promoting sustainability at the festival with the focus of reducing the event’s environmental impact.
“This a great way to share our ‘small actions’ message to quite a big audience”, corporate affairs manager Emma Peacock told Sponsorship News.
