AbaF and The Proteus Leadership Centres have collaborated to develop a unique opportunity for visual artists to further develop their business skills.
This ‘Creative Leaders’ Scholarship combines a diploma level business education with coaching, mentoring, and promotional opportunities, to assist the successful applicant to build a South Australian arts-based business, and to become a creative leader within their artistic industry.
The 2009 Creative Leaders Scholarship Winner was Cindi Drennan. Cindi is a multimedia artist with more than 20 years' experience in events, theatre, site-specific installations and live audio visual performances. Media release here.

If you have an existing visual arts business or you want to develop a business, then the ‘Creative Leaders’ Scholarship will provide tools for your success.
The successful applicant will receive the following package proudly delivered by the award-winning Proteus Leadership Centres.
- Enrolment in the Diploma of Business Management – BSB50401
- Attendance at the 'National Leaders With A Life' Conference
- Attendance and showcasing at The Proteus Leadership Centres business breakfasts
- Proteus Life magazine – annual subscription and a double-page feature article
- Monthly mentoring sessions
