Giving program

AbaF's Giving program promotes and facilitates donations to the arts and cultural sector.

We work with donors and grantmakers, artists and cultural organisations.

We honour best practice in giving through the AbaF Awards.

We collaborate with other agencies to develop and promote research and data on trends in giving. The findings from the Giving Australia Report are here.

We work with the Australia Council for the Arts through Artsupport Australia to increase cultural philanthropy.

For the arts and cultural sector

We provide information, advice, assistance and workshops to help the arts increase donations. The workshops are supported by a guide, Building Relationships and Securing Donations: a Guide for the Arts (The Silver Book).

For donors and grantmakers

We provide advice and assistance to donors (individuals, families, businesses) and grantmakers (private and corporate foundations) on giving to the arts. We can help you connect with the artists and organisations that match your interests and objectives.

We provide a tax-deductible way for private donors to give to the arts through the Australia Cultural Fund.
