2008 AbaF Awards call for nominations from arts and business
Arts organisations and businesses that engage in sponsorship, volunteering or donations programs are invited to enter the 2008 Australia Business Arts Foundation (AbaF) Awards.
The AbaF Awards honour the best relationships between the private sector and the arts.
From small businesses to major corporations, from community arts ventures to national cultural flagships – the AbaF Awards are for everyone involved in private sector-arts relationships. There is no entry fee.
AbaF Awards will be presented at state and national levels. State winners will proceed to the national finals. The AbaF Awards at state level will be presented in September, and at the national level in October. Nominations close on Friday 16 May.
AbaF is holding nomination workshops around Australia in March at which potential nominees have the opportunity to hear from judges and previous winners, and gain tips on how to write a successful nomination.
Details regarding nominations briefings along with all the nomination forms, rules, information, judging and eligibility criteria can be found at www.abaf.org.au/awards.
AbaF is funded by the Commonwealth Government through the Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.
