Australia Cultural Fund

AbaF has a unique tax status through which we can use our deductible gift recipient status (DGR) on behalf of individual artists and arts organisations that do not have DGR. 

Eligible artists and not-for-profit arts organisations can register with AbaF's Australia Cultural Fund (ACF) to raise donations for their work. AbaF helps artists and arts organisations to develop the best approach to prospective donors.

Donors can make a tax-deductible gift to AbaF and express a preference that the donation goes to a particular artist or arts organisation. The AbaF board takes the preference into consideration when making grants.  

AbaF offers this as a free service to donors and artists thanks to the generous support of the Macquarie Group Foundation.
